On Thursday 10th November 2017, Adim Dandy of Bluecoat Beechdale Academy was nominated for a Young Black Achievers Award at the annual event held at The Nottingham Council House.
Adim joined BBA two years ago during the middle of Year 8 after moving from Ireland. He very quickly settled in and was respected by both teaching staff and students as he was a positive peer role model to others and an Ambassador for Bluecoat Beechdale Academy.
With an excellent punctuality record and 100% attendance for the last two academic years he has shown he is fully committed to school life. Adim received the prestigious award of “Outstanding Achiever” at our recent annual Celebration of Success Event. Adim also won the award for having the most positive behaviour points and not a single negative point on record. He always volunteers to help out at all Academy Events.
Ms Oliver, Adim’s Year Leader, attended the evening and was very proud to be able to support Adim in this fantastic achievement.
