Knowing and understanding how a school works is an essential part of the support that you can offer to your child to help them to thrive; regular communication is a key feature of the successful partnerships that we aim to foster. We hope that our website will guide you to a range of information but we also use the Parent Handbook as a useful reference point for parents to clarify details, especially for those students who are just joining us at their start of their Bluecoat Beechdale journey in Year 7.

Please find below information regarding ParentPay and the Academy Lunch Menu as these are parent / carer(s) most regular concerns.
ParentPay is our e-payment method that should be used to pay for all trips, uniform etc. and to top up your child’s dinner account. Dinner accounts can still be topped up using the revalue machines in the Academy. We have set ParentPay up to make payments easier and to remove all cash and cheques from the Academy. Please click here to be taken to the ParentPay website.
If you cannot make online payments then please notify the Academy Office when there is a trip etc. that you would like to make a payment for and we can provide you with a PayPoint letter. This letter will have a unique barcode on that, using PayPoint, will allow you to use cash to pay for a trip etc. at a local shop without the worry of students bringing cash into the Academy.
If you require your ParentPay activation details, please notify the Academy Office and we will get an activation letter sent out to you.
