The form takes less than 2 minutes to complete and will give you an instant decision on whether or not you are eligible.

Although you think you may not be eligible now, circumstances could change in the future and we want to be able to help support you and your child the best we can. In order to do this, the system we use checks your eligibility on a regular basis.

Free School Meal Eligibility

If your child becomes eligible for free schools meals, they will receive a daily allowance of £3.10. If any of this balance is not used on a particular day, it will disappear from the account and £3.10 will be reissued again the following school day, the money does not accumulate.

Here are the two ways that a child eligible for FSM can spend their allowance:

Breakfast:  Free to all students
Break: Free fruit
Two Course Lunch (main & dessert or drink) – £3.10

Breakfast:  Free to all students
Break: 30p snack
One Course Lunch: (main meal) – £2.80

If a students spends over their £3.10 FSM allowance, they will go into a minus on their account and are expected to repay this.
