To give our students the best possible foundation for success, we have organized a structured program of targeted revision sessions before school, at lunchtime, and after school. These sessions are specifically designed to reinforce key concepts, address individual learning gaps, teach effective exam technique, and build the confidence necessary to excel.
While our teachers are dedicated to providing high-quality guidance during these sessions, the partnership between school and home is what truly makes the difference. We kindly ask for your support in encouraging and ensuring your child’s regular attendance at these revision opportunities.
Here are a few ways you can support your child at home:
- Establish a Routine: Encourage a consistent weekly schedule that includes attending key revision sessions alongside dedicated quiet study time at home to complete homework that has been set.
- Encourage Ownership: Help your child review their revision timetable and discuss which sessions will be most beneficial for their specific target areas.
- Prioritize Well-being: Ensure they balance their revision with adequate rest, healthy meals, and good sleep habits to maintain their energy and focus.

We are pleased to invite you and your child to our WHAT’S NEXT EVENT on the 15th October at 3:30pm-5:30pm. This event is designed to help both students and parents/carers feel informed and confident around supporting your child in revision and post 16 application as we approach this important stage of the academic year. There will be an opportunity to ask questions with members of staff about any concerns or queries you may have around revision and post 16 application.
